You may recall that Alan Shimmel and I were invited to participate in Symantec's Securing 2010 live webcast on January 27th. This turned out to be a very interesting event, with Symantec's Zulfikar Ramzan leading and moderating the discussion.
I really enjoyed having the chance to hear another security blogger's views and offer my observations and opinions. Symantec seemed very pleased with the outcome of the event, and has kindly allowed me to post the following video of the webcast slides and audio. The session lasted about an hour.
In the webcast we talk about issues and potential solutions for viruses, botnets and other malware that can deeply affect business, as well as the role of security awareness in reducing risks when staff are using social media at work and at home. We even get into securing the cloud and virtualization.
