Subject: CNN phishing email
Risks in the News

CNN is another favorite phishing lure these days. I've seen many emails in the past few days posing as a CNN sourced message, with subject lines like:

"CNN Top 10 Stories" or

"CNN Alerts - My Custom Alerts"

These will have links in them that go to a dangerous website. It will then tell you that you need to update your Flash Player. Once again, this is trying to get you to download and run a program that will attack your computer and/or network.

A good antivirus program will get most of them, but I've seen a few get through.

Remember not to preview, load images, click on links or open attachments in emails you aren't expecting.
