Firefox is the best browser for several reasons including security. Improve the security by using the Noscript add-on. It rejects Javascript for all sites unless you enable it for a particular site by clicking on the Noscript icon. This mostly removes the danger of crackers using XSS (Cross site scripting). Also, tracking cookies from Doubleclick and Tacoda are blocked.

As a bonus, your browser speeds up because it is not loading all the tracking scripts and affiliate scripts. The downside is that you will be spending a bit of time the first week enabling the sites where JavaScript is useful to you.

Hope this helps!
