Q. How is The Streetwise Security Zone funded and supported?A. Currently, the SWSZ is funded primarily by membership fees, donations, referral fees and occasional ads. While we would rather fill our members' valuable screen real estate with relevant content and tools than with splashy ads, the site has to be able to sustain itself financially. We understand the problem of security budgets - which is probably the reason you are visiting this site. However, we do need to fund quality content and features somehow. Therefore, on some pages, you may see Google Adsense ads, referrals and other sponsors' ads, which also help fund this site. I try to disclose any affiliate relationships when linking to products or services on other sites.
Funding is also provided through the sale of relevant books, audio, video and materials in The Streetwise Marketplace.
Fees are charged for premium content and access to live coaching events.
If you would like to be a sponsor, or have ideas on how we can support the acceleration of better quality content for the community, with new online media business models for funding, please let us know. On the other hand, if you'd prefer to pay a monthy or yearly fee to have no ads on this site, we'd like to hear that from you, too.
